Below are instructions about online ordering. If you have questions or concerns,
call us at: 1 800 LAB-SPEX x 444 (Chemicals) or x 465 (Sample Prep)

Please call us with all custom standard requests. Customs cannot be ordered on the web.

Check for new online promotions online promotions throughout the year.
 
Register
1. Visit www.spexcsp.com and click on the e-Commerce link.
2. Select "Register Now" if you are a new user.
3. Fill in the user profile, creating your own unique login and password. Be sure to complete every field.
4. Click "register". Your information is automatically sent to SPEX CertiPrep® so we may set you up in our system.
5. Within 24 hours, you will receive an email from SPEX CertiPrep indicating that you are officially activated in our system. You may now use your ID to place orders online.

Login (after registration)
1. Enter your user name and password. Remember to type it exactly as you did when registering (all lower or upper case). Click "Sign In".
2. If you know your product numbers, you may begin entering your order. Otherwise, conduct a general product search by either part number or description.

Product Search
1. To search by part number: Click on "Search for Part Number and Availability".
2. To find all part numbers containing a specific sequence (ex:ICAL) enter 3 dots before and after the sequence (ex: ...ICAL...).
3. A screen appears listing all part numbers containing this phrase, as well as availability.
4. To search by description: Click on "Search for Description and Availability".
5. Enter the description with 3 dots before and after. (ex: ...aluminum...).
6. You may continue entering words if the product you are searching for contains multiple analytes.
7. A screen appears listing all part numbers containing this phrase, as well as availability.
8. You may also search by typing in specific concentrations, volumes, or matrices.

Order
1. Click on "Place an Order".
2. Enter PO# or Credit Card information.
3. Choose from the drop down menu next to "Ship To" and verify your ship to address for this order.
4. Enter 1st item number, quantity, and desired delivery date. Click "Add to Order".
5. The screen will refresh and automatically list items ordered in the grey bar area.
6. Continue adding items one at a time and click "Add to Order" after each part number.
7. When finished, click on "Review Order".
8. Verify all products and quanitities listed. You may still modify your order.
9. Choose "Calculate Total" to see final prices.
10. Choose "Submit Order". Order is submitted to SPEX CertiPrep. You will receive a confirmation email indicating your Sales Order Number at the bottom of the page.

Check Order Status
1. To check the status of any order (phone, fax or web) click on "View Order Status".
2. Enter either your PO# or your sales order # (supplied on bottom of confirmation screen when order is placed.).
3. You can only view orders shipped to your specific company.
4. You may also check all shipments sent to your account/company by clicking on "Sales Order shipments by Date".
